One of my favorite things to collect is depression glass. I think I have been collecting now for about 5 years, and not a day goes by that I am not looking to add to my glass collection. Pink depression glass is one of my favorites.

The great thing about depression glass is that it has so many different aspects to its value. Each piece is unique too. Not all pieces are shaped to perfection because of the history behind the glass.

Right now I have several bowls and a couple salt and pepper shakers which are probably my favorite. Once you start collecting you are pretty much hooked. I would say for anyone that is interested in starting not to always believe what you think from people that sell fakes.

Keep in mind that you need to just buy what you can afford. Scour garage sales, and anywhere you can pick them up. You will find some amazing deals sometimes.
