Well, I finally spent the money on a new washer. My wife pushed me and it finally happened. The reason I changed my mind about spending the money is that we realized the one we have now is not saving us any money. It runs all the time, and does small loads. We need something that can handle a large load so we can get done with clothes quicker. I’m really happy that we spent the money.

While we were at it we also got a dryer too. This is going to be beneficial not only for us but for our kids as well, who go through clothes like crazy. Have you seen all those cool commercials on TV for the LG washing machines? Well that’s what we got, an LG frontload washing machine for only 600 bucks.

The dryer we got works great as well. I’m really happy that we can stack our washer and dryer now because this will save a lot of room in the laundry area. Now instead of bringing the close outlining them all over the couches, we can actually fold them in the laundry room.

Do I regret spending all the money that I was going to purchase a new videogame with? I think the Xbox 360 could use a real rest. In the meantime, I will just enjoy having fresh clothes all the time. If you plan on spending some serious money on a washer and dryer I would definitely go with the LG brand. They not only looks sleek and cool to do a great job and save water as well. Plus they actually use less electricity than older washers and dryers. We bought ours at Lowe’s hardware, but you might be able find even a better deal if you shop online.
