The Evolution Of The Home Cinema Projector

Home video projectors used to be fairly predictable. They were big, or they were ugly, or they were bulky, or perhaps worst of all, some combination of all three. These projectors were noisy and required the room in which they were projecting to be almost totally blacked out or the image that they cast was light bleached to the point of being almost obscured. Finally, the typical projector was astonishingly expensive making their use in the home scarce, the result being that they only tended to be found in the workplace.
Fortunately this situation has largely changed with the introduction over recent years of the HD ready projector. These units have evolved from the original form of office based projector, to sleek, good looking sharp imaged powerful projectors that are cheap enough to be at the heart of a home cinema setup. Gone are the days when a home theater was beyond the reach of all but the wealthiest families, with the introduction of the HD ready projector that home cinema experience is within most peoples grasp.
