You’d think there would be more free
printable party invitations on the Internet, but there really aren’t. I
guess it’s because people like to sell party invitations, rather than give them
away. That’s makes sense! But there are other ways to make money, and sometimes
that involves giving away free printables. Although that seems like a
contradiction in terms; it isn’t. There are ad based pages, or pages that sell
products or paid downloads, and all of those can work with the free printable
party invitation model. 

It also is a nice feeling to give away artwork so that people who genuinely
don’t have the money to buy invitations can print them themselves on their home
printers. Invitation templates also allow people to embellish the final product
and make them their truly own. This can be done with glitter glue, rhinestones,
three dimensional embellishments, paint, markers, colored pencils and any
number of other means. I’ve seen some pretty nicely decorated invitations in my
day, so I know that making them can really open the door to creativity!
